All batteries distributed by Dynamic Battery Services Limited are manufactured to the strictest quality standards in the Powertech Battery Group's manufacturing plants in the Republic of South Africa.
The manufacturing plants are accredited for OE supply to the automotive manufacturing industry and hold all the relevant certification including ISO 9002, VDA6, Q101, QS9000, ISO 14001 and incorporate modern manufacturing technology processes such as expanded metal grid technology.

The company started trading as Willard Batteries - under license to ESB Incorporated of the United States, during January 1954. The manufacturing operation and offices are situated in Port Elizabeth.
The company concentrated initially, on the manufacture of automotive batteries and very soon gained an enviable reputation for the excellence of their product quality.
The first industrial batteries were produced in 1966 for the SATS Diesel Electronic Locomotives, then built by General Electric. The manufacture of motive power and stationary batteries followed in 1967.
